Right now a set of pictures of Rockchip’s new prototype PMP is circulating on Chinese tech websites. The device is called Supernova X1. The most exciting point is that it supports naked-eye 3D. Yes, without the annoying glasses, the 3D video is by your hands. Today the limit for a 3D PMP is that there’re still not many 3D videos, but Supernova X1 allows you to switch from 3D to 2D any time you want to play 2D videos on it. Currently Rockchip still hasn’t unveiled too many details, and just said its was still a prototype. A little out of expect is that Supernova X1 isn’t powered by Android OS or any other advanced OS.
