ZTE, the giant Chinese telecommunications company which is present in all continents of the globe, does not want to be left behind by his rival Huawei on the niche market of Android’s tablet PC. As a sign of response to the Huawei Smakit S7, ZTE has announced that its V9 tablet will be available in Asia but also in Europe and America.
The brand also unveils some details about the ZTE V9. It will run on Android, it will be equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen and a QWERTY keyboard and its price will be 50% cheaper than smartphones.
Hopefully if this come true, competitors will react and thus drive down prices of Android tablet PC on the market.
