Its fairly easy to upgrade Wits with latest firmware, here is how:

1. Format a microSD card using HP format tool (has to be FAT).
2. Copy the MLO file to microSD first (important).
3. Copy all the other files to microSD.
4. Power off the A81E.
5. Insert the microSD.
6. Plug in the AC charger.
7. Press and hold the left arrow key (the one next to Power On key) and press and hold the Power On key until see text top of the screen, you can release the key now.
8. The upgrade process takes several minutes. WAIT!!
9. The device will reboot (shutdown) when finished.

The screen on Moonse / aPad is not as bright as it can be by default.  I have found an app that will help you increase the brightness and make the screen look much better, specially when watching movie or browsing photos.

Simply install the app and slide all the way to 100%.

1. Install the USB driver for your device onto your PC. You can get the driver for Windows PCs here.
2. The Java SE developers kit.
3. The Android SDK developers kit.

Download and install those three applications, and you’re already halfway to taking screenshots with your Android quickly and easily. After you set up the Android SDK developer kit, you’ll be presented with an update screen that probably has an error saying you need to force download. Just cancel/close that screen and continue to the procedure below.

THIS FLASH METHOD WORKS ONLY WITH THE 2ND VERSION OF THE APAD (WITH CAMERA).
DO NOT FLASH APAD 1ST VERSION USING THIS METHOD.

1. Download RKAndroidDM.exe and firmware and unpack.
2. Shut down the device.
3. Switch the toggle switch to off and back to on position.
4. While the device is still off, press and hold Menu button till step 7.
5. Connect the device to your computer with USB cable via the lower USB port (still holding Menu button) .
6. Windows will now ask for drivers, browse to the unpacked ffff folder and install.
7. You can release the Menu button once Windows recognizes the device.
8. Run RKandroidDM.exe, “Device found!” should be displayed (if not, repeat steps 4 and 7)
9. click on the “…” button annd browse to the unpacked files, select the file image.img and click OK.
10. Click the ‘Update’ button and wait about 5 minutes for the new rom to be loaded.
A message in Windows XP will indicate success, your device will automatically boot with the new
firmware. You can now unplug the USB cable.
11. You need to calibrate the screen on your device first time you boot.
12. The language is set to Chinese by default, to change the language go to Settings and select the 7th option, on next screen select 1st option,  next screen select desired language.
